Is Capaldi more Tom-ish this season?

[personal profile] miss_s_b posting in [community profile] doctorwho
There's been a couple of times in episodes where he's done a sudden mad grin and I've thought "that's very Tom", and then I was scrolling through the f-list this morning and saw this:

Peter Capaldi looking like Tom Baker

and genuinely did a double take. The wicked, crinkly, mischievous TOMNESS of that is just off-the-scale as far as I am concerned.

What do you guys think?

Fandoms: Sherlock/Arthurian Mythology
Characters/Pairings: Sherlock Holmes/Molly Hooper, Mycroft Holmes & OFC in these parts
Rating: PG so far
Summary: Mycroft is sent to Hampshire for a meeting that he has an ulterior motive for going to: there has been talk of strange goings ons in the nearby village of Farnham, Surrey, and a high ranking government official has disappeared. He tasks his brother to find out just what is going on, which leads to the discovery of a long lost colony of an ancient race who are normally peaceful but are being manipulated by an unscrupulous businessman with plans for taking what he believes to be rightfully his.

I liked this week's episode. Again! Am now cautiously hopeful that this might be a pattern...

Am especially in love with Bill.

[community profile] mag7bingo is - unsurprisingly - a fanworks bingo community for the TV series The Magnificent Seven.
Bingo cards are 5x5 squares and prompts are either general or character specific.
It's a very low-stress community with no deadlines or word limits.
