Yes indeed; I've come to the conclusion that the Daleks probably spend their whole lives in a state of absolute terror, which they express as anger and hatred, or at least that's what I think. And Davros made them that way, the scumbag.

The newWho Cybermen are just bland robots; they needed to talk more, I think, and show a bit of that cold, emotionless logic they're supposed to have. Oh, and be a bit more enthusiastic about the idea of converting people; "you will become like us!" I suppose the idea of giving them a cackling evil-genius-leader seemed like a good idea to the writers, but it reduced the Cybermen themselves to just stomping-around henchmen. The conversion factory was suitably nasty, though, as was that bit when Ten gave them back their emotions and they all collapsed in horror at what they'd become. Not enough of that kind of stuff, though.
