Drat. I meant to say, about the shippy stuff - sorry, it's only that I do sometimes (I am strange) muse on audience theory and the different ways people read things, so you got my thoughts and then some... (And I've had weird conversations more than once that go like this:
Me: You should watch X - it's really interesting.
Colleague: Well, I don't really fancy Y.
Me: ???
Then I think: aha, audience theory.)
