Fic: And All is Dross That is Not Helena

Fic: And All is Dross That is Not Helena

Well, I guess I have to thank/blame my associate Maggadin/akashasheiress for this one! ;D It was in considering her livejournal poll regarding various Doctor/companion ships that I got thinking along these lines, and once I started thinking, I couldn't get rid of the idea until I'd written it. I feel kind of dirty and ashamed now... ;D Er, yeah, so while this isn't explicit-explicit, it isn't entirely fade-to-black either, so be warned. And of course Doctor Who and its various copyrights and characters definitely do not belong to me.

Right, now I'm going to get back to the original story and finishing that TW fic, and other stuff that doesn't leave me feeling like a sicko... :D

This isn't what I think it is... is it...?

*shock*

I have the feeling that this is one fic of yours I am going to have to leave alone. :-(

[Unknown site tag], stop with the corruption, now! I'd much rather have more of the fantasy novel.

(And while I'm here: what I was vaguely getting towards saying the other day when i worried about us commenting it to death was that: you have a beginning and a good beginning. You're not sure about the style, but that's okay. This is probably too late; there's probably a 10,000 epic battle prologue in prohress, but unless you have in mind any changes to that that change What Happens (and therefore What Happens Next), just write on. Get wherever it is you're going, and by the time you get there, what should be at the start will be blindingly obvious anyway. On the other hand, despite my lack of interest in battles - sorry! - I always find your warfare so poetically written, I enjoy it nonetheless. It's very odd giving advice on a fragment and not knowing anyway. Carry on writing what you want to, as long as you persevere with something - mostly the same something!)

Who da man? I am astonished that you wrote this one, but good for you for doing it once you got obsessed about it, and for sharing it!
