Fic: Torchwood 1913: Jack be Nimble

Fic: Torchwood 1913: Jack be Nimble, Part 14

The gang go back to the Hub to regroup - wackiness ensues. More Lydia POV stuff, and some of her thoughts on Gerald. Gerald meanwhile, finds out just what Jack and the rest of them were up to while he was in London, and is not best pleased. And Harriet wonders just what she has got herself into... Oh, and Lydia probably should have copyrighted that line she comes out with at the end...

I know what you mean, but i don't know if it always matters much to the person reading, or if they can tell. It depends on the resultant output! ;-)

Well, you can tell a story in 100, or 500 words, so... A night's sleep helps a lot (once I eventually got some) and this morning it occurred to me that instead of looking to see if I could adapt any of my story, I should look at expanding a drabble. I also thought about the fact that it would be an audio short story and that that lends itself to OC first person narrative, fable-type things, or just plain good prose, but I leave that to you. :-) And now I have an idea, but having seen around others who are entered, I don't have a hope!

Still, I can't ignore something like this twice in a month. What's the point in all this fan fic writing if we don't try?

You write Seven and Ace so well; I look forward to hearing it on BF audio. :-D

Well yes, as you say - we can but try, and it's too good an opportunity to pass up. Now, if I could just think of a story...

I like the idea of a POV OC who sort of sees the Doctor's adventure obliquely - the reader/listener knows what's going on, but the narrator doesn't have a clue...

Now, if I could just come up with a story...

Heh. That's kind of mine. At the moment, I'm doing an Eight story, but I am still thinking of one for One, because it struck me that my only hope would be to do a relatively unpopular Doctor! Anyway...

Historical? Little snappy period piece with Seven plotting? You could have your 14th C politics, with Seven fitting right in and Ace not so much... (I'm just after fic here!!!)

All good ideas...historical sounds good actually (Seven giving history a little tweak for purposes of some scheme or other). I'm still thinking about this one; I'll let you know when I have something. Hmmm...
