A Bit More Fanart...

So, while I'm evangelising on behalf of MS Paint, here are another couple of things:

.

Ten

And a Dalek - I did this one maybe two years ago, and it took me bloody ages, I don't mind telling you. My original idea was to do one of every model and colour scheme of Dalek from One to Ten's eras (and maybe the movie ones too), but I only got as far as the Sixties (there are a few more I did too, but they all look pretty much like this fella). FWIW, this is a 60s era Dalek as seen between The Chase and Evil of the Daleks (note the slats!)

Very nice. I really love the Dalek.
Ten is good too. It's amazing what you can do with Paint and some obsessive dedication.

Thanks! Obsessive is a about right... ;D

Slick Dalek! (Extra long toilet plunger thingie?)

Yeah, I think it's a bit out of proportion; the eye-stalk looks too big to me as well. It's more of my best guess I suppose than an accurate schematic. Still, glad you liked; I prefer the colours on the Sixties Daleks to the Seventies ones; they went a bit disco with all the gold and everything on the leader-Daleks. Although I suppose any colours other than black, grey and silver would have been a bit wasted in the days when they were b&w! The best Dalek colour scheme ever, though, is the silver and black one they have in Death to the Daleks; seriously, they should have kept that one.

No, I like the long stalk. And I agree. I liked the 60s matte finish Daleks over the disco-ball (or is it MR. T gold chains?) 70s ones. Can't say I really like them red.

Yes, I think the movie Daleks were a bit _too_ colourful. :D The white-and-gold Imperial Daleks in Remembrance should have been too much, I suppose, but for some reason their colouring seemed to fit - they looked "Imperial" somehow.

True. Maybe it was the lighting?

Yeah, it was mostly shot on location, wasn't it?

I think Remembrance was, at least most of it.

Great job on both of them! I really like Ten-- you got the stance and the hair just right :)

And the Dalek is fantastic!

Thank you very much!

And, once again, I am quite amazed with your MSpaint abilities.

You're too kind; I have had a lot of practice, though; I couldn't tell you how many hours I've wasted on this kind of stuff. It keeps me off the street and out of the pub, though!

Ten looks awesome. Must've taken a bit of time?

Thank you very much! It didn't take me as long as the Time Lord thing, but I can't draw anything _quickly_ in Paint...I kept having to make his legs longer and longer, because he wasn't tall and skinny enough at first...
