Fic: The Spartans, Part One: The Hot Gates

I know what those of you familiar with my online activities are thinking: "Another promises-to-be-lengthy WIP, when he's already got all of those other WIPs about the place and claims to be trying to write original stuff these days too??!!" What can I say, I have a problem... I've wanted to do this one for ages, though; you may recall me some months ago writing a lengthy, self-indulgent post about how kewl it would be to write a Two-era historical set in and around the Battle of Thermopylae. So, er, here it is; the King of Kings, who only wants to bring truth and justice to the world under his iron rule, vs. a load of Nazis-in-sandals defenders of democracy who claim to be fighting for freedom etc. And Two and co, predictably, are caught in the middle of the whole mess.
