Unscientific Doctor Who Opinion Polls...

So, I was in work today when I overheard a conversation between two of my colleagues. Let's call them Dave and Neil (because those are their actual names...). Now, I know that both of them watch SF films and TV, including Doctor Who, because we have discussed it in the past, but I don't think they follow it religiously and nor would I consider them to be specifically "Doctor Who fans"; I think they only have the sketchiest awareness of pre-2005 Who (although Dave does know who Sylvester McCoy is).

I say this purely to establish that these two blokes are what we might term "casual viewers". Anyway, the exchange I heard this morning went as follows:

For some reason, this gave me a warm, fuzzy sort of glow that got my weekend off to a decent start...
