Day Seven: Your Favourite Piece of Music

I'm generally a bit clueless when it comes to music in film and television; generally I only notice it when it's Murray Gold or someone drowning out the dialogue with heavenly choirs of Ood or whatever, so for this I'm going to pick my favourite arrangement of the Who theme tune. I mean, it is one of the most distinctive and innovative theme tunes in television history and deserves recognition. The newer, bigger orchestral versions used in the TVM and the new series don't really do it for me. I much prefer the original weird-sounding 60s version. However, my favourite is the version they started using in 1980 with S18 - for some reason when I hear that du-dum du-dum, du-dum du-dum...that just "is" Doctor Who:

No, I don't pretend to have any great musical taste either...
