Gold Nemesis?!
Feb. 28th, 2012 10:17 pmThose of you on my flist may have seen this.
I offer no opinion either way on how likely the rumour might be - I think it might be pretty cool if it were true. I'd certainly like to see the bearded old barsteward show up for the 50th, preferably played by an actor of quality like Benners (as I'm not going to start calling Mr Cumberbatch). Reading the article got me thinking, though.
What would you, my flist, like to see in any hypothetical Doctor Who 50th anniversary special? You know, once you get past no-brainers like as many old Doctors/companions as can possibly be persuaded/bribed/coerced into making an appearance. ;D (Even if they only got Tennant back for another turn, I think it'd feel special in some way, and as you may know I had my...differences with the Ten era. I must be going soft in my old age.)
So, thoughts? I'll start things off by saying the first thing on my golden jubilee Who shopping list (after old Doctors etc) would be Daleks. I know, I know, they're "overused" etc (especially in New Who!), but they were there (practically) at the beginning, so they should be there again at the 50 year mark I think. It would be fitting.
