The parallels are definitely there. I'm trying to adopt a wait and see attitude, as I don't want to prejudge Chibnall's stewardship of Who the way I think a lot of RTD partisans prejudged (and still do tbh) Moffat and his Doctors, but I agree Capaldi is going to be a very hard act to follow, and I like Bill very much as well.
