Ah, Ronnie Corbett; gotta love him. No really, you do; it's the law. The man's a national treasure, like the Crown Jewels, or Sutton Hoo, or Michael Palin...

I remember when I used to spend my Friday evenings in wild revelry and carousing...I'm spending this one watching Davy Tennant presenting a segment of the Comic Relief-a-thon on BBC1, in a startling white suit/red tie combo, and coincidentally totally pwning Davina McCall in a round of Celebrity Mastermind. His specialist subject, predictably, was Doctor Who, 1963-2009; I'm currently going around thinking I'm brilliant because I got eight out of ten of the questions; mind you, so did the boy Tennant; nice one, son. And I knew the other two when the question master read out the answers. Of course I did.

Having previously watched the little SJA skit guest-starring the aforementioned One Ronnie. Of course, he's exactly the sort of person you'd expect to see guest-starring in an actual episode of SJA, so the impact is perhaps slightly diminished. Still, it was nice enough, even if it did reinforce my suspicions that I'd appreciate the whole RTD era a lot more if I could somehow educate myself in enjoying things like flatulence gags. And K-9 was in it, so that was nice (as that fella on the Fast Show used to say). And Lis Sladen couldn't be anything less than classy if she tried. And Clyde continues to be The Man.

And Lenny Henry...I haven't seen him in anything approaching comedy for years. Which is a shame, as he used to be really funny.
