Following on from my modest proposal yesterday...

Having received a bit of feedback from my good flisters akashasheiress and lost_spook and considered what they had to say, I'm now proposing a revised schedule for the 50th anniversary ficathons I plan to run next year on the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary comm I'm going to set up:

January - Eleven
February - Ten
March - Nine
April - Eight
May - Seven
June - Six
July - Five
August - Four
September - Three
October - Two
November - One

There will also, I think, be two prompts/themes every month - the Doctors detailed above and also a supplementary theme intended to provide as wide a range of options as possible for anybody who wants to contribute. The only one of those that's hard and fast at the moment is my idea of having a month for people specifically to write indulgent multi-Doctor 50th anniversary stories of the sort that I'm not holding my breath to see from the BBC in RL. That one will be in November with One, as befits the actual anniversary month.

And then we can all take December off. Or write highly-speculative Twelve fic if one of my long-held but increasingly unlikely-seeming hunches about how the 50th anniversary might go down turns out to be true after all. :D
