In fact, it still seems like a good idea - I'm already forming plans and seeing which of my existing plans fit in with items on the table (more than I expected!). And October 31 seems like a long way away (although I suspect it won't when it's, say, October 20 and I still haven't done anything!). Well, we will see how this plays out...
