jjporHaven't done one of these in a while, so snaffled from john_amend_all:
If you happen to be working on some creative writing project, fanfiction or NaNaWriMo or what have you, post exactly one sentence from each of your i current works in progress in your journal.
No titles, no pack drill:
“Should I keep the engine runnin’, then, sir?”
A sudden coolness touched her face as a shadow fell across her.
“Those things’ll kill you,” he jovially advised her as she lit up, eyeing the open bag in her lap and detecting a dark glint of gun.
Harriet, he thought, heart stopping for a beat, mind racing and imagining again, making up terrible stories and knowing that they might not be terrible enough.
Somewhere behind the fist, and therefore slightly out of focus, there was a face.
