Fic: The Volteze Falcon, Part Six: Kobayashi Unimportant

The jaw-dropping conclusion! The heist of the aeon ends as all great heists do, with double-crossing, backstabbing and generally unethical behaviour. The agenda of the mysterious Kobayashi Unimportant is finally revealed - please try not to laugh too hard at the big twist - this started out as an attempt at crazy crack after all, even if it did kind of...grow... Oh, and I hope Harry's old man's attitude to certain things doesn't offend too much. So, Mexican standoffs! Twist and counter-twist! Daring escapes! Stunning betrayals! All this and naked bottoms too - because I'm out of control, people!

Heheh - I can't say how pleased with myself I am that you didn't see the twist coming about twenty miles away - makes me feel nearly as cunning and mysterious as the man himself... ;D

Oh, you know I doth protest too much; you've read (much to my mortification!) that Captain-Jack-flying-planes-in-WW1 fic, haven't you? Worse stuff than naked bottoms going on in that one... :o

I really was rather convinced it was the White Guardian for awhile you know. Or perhaps the Master... I think it says a lot about Seven that I couldn't tell him apart from his arch nemesis.

That Captain-Jack-flying-planes-and-other-things fic is excellent and don't let your mortification tell you otherwise. the only reason I haven't given it a review at the source yet is I haven't been able to think of something sufficiently intelligent in response yet. Because it feels like a fic that needs a good intelligent reader response. Yeah... that's my excuse. *ducks*

LOL - thank you very much; it's one I've always been a bit unsure of, because of the, well, and also I've never been sure if I get Jack right - it's definitely miserable Torchwood Jack there rather than the more likeable Who version (I think I also snuck in a mention for Gerald and the other retro-TW people!). And it has armaments-pr0n in it too (along with the just plain pr0n!). ;D

I wish I'd thought of it being the White Guardian or the Master - that would have been well better! ;D No, I can see the White-Guardianness on display, definitely. I thought the hat-tipping and the umbrella were a dead giveaway, though... :D
