Fic: Torchwood 1913: Jack be Nimble, Part 15

The next bit! The plot doesn't advance very much (again!), but hopefully that will end after this part. The main plottiness here is sort of foreshadowing for future retro-TW fics that I will probably never write (useful, then!) and will probably mean more if you've seen the S2 ep To The Last Man. References also to my previous fic "Scareship", so yeah... The creepy tarot-reading little girl, of course, appears in the S2 eps Dead Man Walking and Fragments.

Oh no, definitely not; the Doctor and Romana and Squadron Commander Krangg and the rest are still there, waiting to resume their expedition... I know I said I was going to get back to them before Xmas, but I've got writing original fic, and I wanted to finish retro-TW because at the time it seemed like the smaller job (?!), and I went and entered a ficathon I shouldn't have you know, real life stuff... But they are on the schedule, definitely. Have some Four/Romana dialogue from the next bit while you're waiting:

“Well, you know what I always say...”

“No, not really. You do say an awful lot of things.”

“Yes you do; I always say it.”

“You do?”

“Yes. Always.”

“Well, I can’t say I’ve ever heard you say it.”

“Heard me say what?”

“Whatever it is you always say.”

“Well, as I was just saying...I was saying... Romana, what was I saying again?”

Heheh, yeah. I'm glad someone's reading it, anyway! ;-D I'm on a bit of a drive to put this one to bed, and then it's back to the Black Bore and his medieval shenanigans (and that ficathon...I said I wasn't going to do things like that this year...). And Sontarans up the jungle... With all that and jobsearching, I might get some sleep sometime before my next birthday... It's all stopping me from dwelling too much on work, though, so that's to the good.
