I picked this up from [livejournal.com profile] innerbrat  via [livejournal.com profile] lizbee 's journal, and I think it's kind of cool:

1. Comment to this post with "I surrender!" and I'll assign you the basis of some TV show idea. (Science fiction show, medical drama, criminal procedure, etc...)
2. Create a cast of characters, including the actors who'd play them.
3. Add in any actor photos, character bios and show synopsis that you want.
4. Post to your own journal.

I think the obvious retort I was aiming for there was: And for some reason I'm trying to cast a corpse. Any suggestions?

Hmmm, someone who possess a certain dramatic stillness and doesn't mind not having any lines... :D

Yes; you're right, one of _those_ sort of "hey, don't I know him from somewhere?" actors...

Yep, that's it.

And I cast my corpse, only he ended up completely different to how I planned. (I'm so impressed with myself for managing actual casting, although I started off being so determined I'd be realistic and not all fantasy-casting, and being realistic is hard work unless you're a proper casting director, I've decided.)

Yeah, somehow I think casting Jack Nicholson in a BBC Three sitcom kind of destroys the verisimilitude or something... :D

Or, you know, actors who you'd really like but are kind of, well, dead...

Actually, someone like that would be perfect for your role! Aw, it's already taken...
