Fic: Where Were You When...?

Well, it’s that time of year again, time to look back on 47 years of the greatest television programme ever devised and wish it many more to come. And of course, Doctor Who was far from being the only thing going on in 1963… Doctor Who and all of its associated copyrights and characters do not belong to me, but rather to the BBC and/or their individual creators. Song lyrics by John Lennon and Paul McCartney.

Well, I hope you like it...it's a bit...non-obvious in its approach, really. I just started writing it last night - at least I'm actually writing again! :D

I think you're selling yourself short there. A lot of things seem obvious once somebody's actually thought of them.

And even if the *idea* is obvious, what really makes this story is the execution, which is brilliant. It's got well-written characters, it's funny, and I love all the little clever details.

Thank you very much indeed - I'm glad you liked it and that the OCs and the humour worked for you. I tried to get a few continuity shout-outs in there (as always! ;D). I'd have liked to do one with One, Ian, Barbara and Susan in it properly, but I think that'd take a bit more planning than I put into this one, to get the characterisations right. One for another time, maybe. :D
