Before I Forget (Again)

I've been meaning to post this rec for a couple of days, but it kept slipping my mind. Basically, when I was reading a lot of Brig fic the other night, this fic from calapine was linked to from one of them. It's not strictly Brig fic, although he gets a very nice mention, but it still gave me a bit of a lump in the old throat at the time of reading:
