Fic: Family Ties - One: The Dark Tower

Okay, I am probably very much going to regret embarking upon this fic... This was written in response to a prompt received fromdbskyler, over on the comm dw_straybunnies . Basically, the challenge was to construct a semi-coherent fic from the audition scripts Paul McGann can be seen reading in the extras on the new edition of the TV Movie DVD. Well here goes - warning, it is extremely strange, and extremely AU. The V-2 rockets were actually part of the audition script in question, believe it or not! Some of the dialogue is lifted verbatim from the audition scripts in question. Doctor Who and its various copyrights definitely do not belong to me, but rather to the BBC and/or their individual creators. In particular, the Daleks belong to the Terry Nation estate.

I reckon he could - a different sort of Master to Simm, but that's not necessarily a bad thing (no, it really isn't ;D). But you know, I think he'd make a pretty credible Doctor too. I'm not sure who I'd like to be the next Doctor (and it seems pointless to speculate in a way, because Matt Smith came out of nowhere and hasn't displeased me so far), but I'd like it to be someone a bit different really. Variety being the spice of life and all that... :)

Given how much I loathed Simm!Master, I would be VERY happy to see someone playing the Master differently to Simm (not that I blame Simm - RTD was responsible!)

But yeah, Ben would make an interesting Doctor too... Mind you, I don't know if I could cope with Ben as the Doctor - it might melt my brain altogether! :D
