An Extremely Random Observation

Listening to my local radio station yesterday afternoon, I noticed for the very first time that Eminem's track "Lose Yourself" specifically name-checks the actor Mekhi Phifer, for some reason. As you may imagine, being the only person I actually know of who kind of liked Torchwood: Miracle Day, almost in spite of itself, and especially Mr Phifer's turn as toolish CIA-guy Rex Matheson, this amuses me greatly. :D

Mekhi Phifer was in the movie 8 Mile with Eminem. Eminem wrote Lose Yourself for its soundtrack.

I haven't made it through all of Miracle Day yet, but I've always enjoyed Mikhi Phifer's performances. :-)

Well, that would certainly explain it. :D

I thought Miracle Day was alright, really - not as good as Children of Earth, not as bad as the worst of S1-2, so yeah. And the best thing about it was the cast, I think.
