Fic: Let Them Eat Cake

Well, this is a strange one. I wrote this for my cronies from the Death by Aspirin message board community, various of whom expressed their desire to see a story featuring Ten, naked, chained to Three and covered in cake. Don't ask me why; they're just like that. So, this is for you, madmerry, clocketpatch , primsong , libraryloverand especially for you Newton (sorry, don't know your lj name!). I hope you're happy now. The rest of you, please don't judge me... XD Obviously Doctor Who and its various characters and copyrights do not belong to me in any way, shape or form.

Very fun! I can just see the Brig's face when he's forced to utter the words "cake monster". Same goes for the Master's perturbation at hearing his future self likes bad pop music. But, neither the Doctors nor the Master should be complaining all that much because it could have been worse --- it could have been a blancmange.

I honestly don't thing Delgado!Master would approve much of any of his latter-day incarnations, but Simm!Master might well annoy him the most - especially when he started dancing...

Okay, you've mentioned this mysterious forum by name now and since it seems to be frequented by a lot of nice people, I shall have to take a look. (They can't shout at you if you like Sylvester, because otherwise you wouldn't be safe there either. That'll be okay, then.) I assume, though, that they tied you up, made you beg for your life etc etc before you agreed to write something like this? *straight face*

That was, btw, wonderfully daft fic.

(And as I said, I v. much like the Confesionary Cluster. And yes, my Seven, Benny & a Yeti fic 'Surprise' has mention of an ice cream planet with chocolate monsters, so definitely from the same section of space, I would think. Sorry - chocolate based life forms that have an issue with the way their species are exploited for toppings).

My mysterious double life exposed by an incautious comment! Seriously, glad to see you over on DbyA; it's a good place, full of great people. I've only been frequenting it for about a year and a bit now, but it's become my home from home on the internets, and new mentions are always welcome. It's pleasingly free from the sort of factional infighting you see on a lot of "serious" forums, actually; a nice mix of NuWhovian whippersnappers with a leavening of relatively old hands like m'self. And nicely silly most of the time, which is good.

Ah, I have a filthy mind sometimes; most of the time people pretend not to notice when I come out with lines like that, and I'm happy to go along with it! XD But yes, it did seem in keeping with the Doctor/Master *thing*, whatever it is, and I like giving the Master snarky lines like that. And yes, the slumber party needs to be told! Really!

I think the options are limited. In descending order of coolness:

1. Martha did it at their slumber party (current favourite)

2. It's part of some inept attempt to disguise himself as Rose, seeing as that seems to be the only way to get Ten's attention these days...

3. It's part of an image revamp as the Master attempts to launch his new career in the world of pop music. Evil pop music.
